
As thousands of supporters gathered at Sideline Dam, Stewartville, Region Three, Prime Minister Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips reiterates the government’s unwavering commitment to fulfilling its electoral promises and honoring the people’s voice.
‘Your vote is the foundation upon which we stand today,’ he said, ‘and our tireless efforts to implement our manifesto plans will continue with your support for another five-year term.’
The Prime Minister emphasized that the government’s development agenda is deeply rooted in the collective aspirations of the nation, highlighting significant strides made in key sectors.
‘Guyana’s economy is thriving, and as we reap the benefits of growth, we will ensure that high-quality services are delivered to you without cost,’ he assured.
The Prime Minister outlined a series of notable achievements under his administration: 12 new hospitals, 75 primary schools, and 67 nursery schools constructed nationwide; substantial investments in teacher training programs; improved public sector remuneration; tax and fee relief; and enhanced national security measures.
‘As we approach the next general elections, I urge all citizens to reflect on our progress,’ he said, ‘and continue to support us in carrying forward the development momentum.’
