Tragedy struck a family in Corentyne when 16-year-old Jodea Seline died in a horrific accident that also left several others injured. Her mother, Shemmala Castello, is struggling to cope with the loss of her daughter, who had been looking forward to a sports event.
Shemmala recalled the moment she received the call telling her Jodea had been in an accident, describing it as ‘unimaginable’ and ‘break[ing] her completely’.
Jodea was known for her kind heart and gentle spirit, which touched everyone she met. Her family is now left to pick up the pieces and come to terms with their loss.
The investigation into the accident has also revealed some disturbing details, including a significant quantity of suspected cannabis and a box of tools found on the scene.
