
A young man in Austria made headlines after bravely jumping onto a moving high-speed train during a scheduled stop.
The incident occurred at St Poelten station, 64km west of Vienna, where the passenger, an Algerian national, decided to take a cigarette break.
Unfortunately for him, he realized too late that the train had begun its departure, prompting him to climb onto the space between two carriages.
With no other option, the man pounded on the windows to alert fellow passengers before the emergency stop was performed to allow him aboard.
A heated argument ensued with the train conductor, as reported by Austrian tabloid Heute.
