
Authorities have disclosed the identity of the 42-year-old man suspected of carrying out a mass stabbing that injured 11 individuals at a Walmart in Traverse City, Michigan. The suspect, identified as Bradford James Gille from Afton, is facing potential terrorism and multiple assault charges with intent to murder.
Grand Traverse County Sheriff, Michael Shea, revealed that Gille has a history of assaults and controlled substance offenses, although a clear motive for the attack remains undetermined. Victims, aged between 29 and 84, include one Walmart employee, with medical updates indicating that seven individuals are in fair condition while four are in serious condition.

Witness Tiffany DeFell, who observed the frightening scene from the parking lot, described the incident as surreal, likening it to a scene from a movie. Law enforcement responded promptly, with civilians assisting in the apprehension of Gille, who was taken into custody without injury. The FBI has also stepped in to support local authorities.
In light of the incident, a Walmart representative condemned the violence, expressing condolences to those affected and emphasizing the company’s commitment to cooperating fully with the investigation.
