In a recent on-air debate with Kian Jabour and Dr. Mark France from ANUG on the Freddie Kissoon Show, I questioned the qualifications of Dexter Todd, who aspires to become a parliamentarian. While I cannot confirm Todd’s credentials, my assessment is based on his actions as the family lawyer representing the Younge family.
Firstly, Todd should face libel accusations from the three pathologists involved in the original autopsy due to his derogatory claims that they were “infiltrated.” Such insinuations amount to a serious breach of character. Secondly, Todd suggested that the autopsy findings were unreliable because the pathologists may have been stressed, further casting doubt on their expertise.
Moreover, the police have publicly contradicted Todd’s statements on two occasions, first disputing his claims about their meetings and, more recently, claiming they provided him with the original autopsy report—a statement he denies. This ambiguity raises questions about Todd’s credibility.
Furthermore, Todd’s assertions about an unknown international investigation team in Guyana are bewildering and lack transparency. It’s concerning that such a significant investigation into a high-profile case is shrouded in secrecy. Todd’s failure to justify this lack of transparency calls into question his judgment and suitability for public office.
Given these circumstances, I believe these foreign investigators should not have been granted visas without revealing their identities and qualifications. Todd’s actions suggest a serious misalignment with his responsibilities to the public, warranting a reevaluation of his role in this matter.
