The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has taken action against Trinbago Knight Riders’ Nicholas Pooran, who was charged with a Level 1 offence under the CPL Code of Conduct. The incident occurred during the Eliminator match against the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, where Pooran showed dissent at an umpire’s decision.
Pooran has accepted the sanction, which includes a fine equivalent to 20% of his match fee. This move is aimed at maintaining the integrity and sportsmanship expected in the CPL.
