A new documentary series is shedding light on the dark secrets of one of California’s most notorious serial killers, Joseph Naso. The two-part special, titled "The Amazon Review Killer," premiered on Fox Nation and explores the crimes committed by Naso, who was convicted in 2013 of killing four women.
Naso has now claimed that he actually murdered 26 women, a bombshell confession made by his fellow death row inmate, William Noguera. The chilling revelations are featured in the new Oxygen documentary, "Death Row Confidential: Secrets of a Serial Killer," which premiered on September 13.
Naso’s double life was marked by his portrayal as a devoted family man and school photographer during the day, while he led a dark and sinister existence at night. Investigators found disturbing evidence, including photographs of what appeared to be dead women among his belongings, along with a cryptic list of female victims.
The documentary also reveals that Naso’s confessions were documented by Noguera, who spent over a decade building trust with the killer inside California’s San Quentin State Prison. According to Noguera, Naso claimed he had killed 26 women, and even provided a possible explanation for the number, stating it represented his trophies.
The documentary raises questions about the reliability of Naso’s confessions and the extent of his involvement in the crimes. While Naso never named his victims, his stories hinted at forgotten crimes, leaving investigators with more questions than answers.
