In celebration of Education Month, teacher Akeisha Rogers at the Schoonord Learning Centre is redefining the boundaries of education. With patience, creativity, and dedication, Ms. Rogers creates an inclusive learning environment where children with disabilities can thrive.

Originally trained as a primary school teacher, Ms. Rogers embarked on an unconventional journey when she was approached to teach at the Schoonord Learning Centre for Diverse Needs. She soon discovered that her true calling was working with students who require specialized support.
