US President Donald Trump has unveiled a new program offering exclusive residency status in the United States, available for purchase through a government website.
The ‘Trump Gold Card’ program allows individuals and corporations to receive rapid residency in the US, with prices starting at $1 million. Corporations will have to pay $2 million for this privilege.
According to the official website, applicants will undergo an accelerated background check and vetting process before being approved for a Trump Gold Card. Once approved, cardholders will be granted lawful permanent resident status as EB-1 or EB-2 visa holders.
The program aims to generate significant revenue, with estimates suggesting it could bring in over $100 billion within weeks. The funds will be used to reduce taxes, support economic growth projects, and pay down the national debt.
Interested parties can apply for the Trump Gold Card on the official website, trumpcard.gov. However, applicants must note that their status may be revoked due to national security concerns.
