FBI Director Kash Patel commended law enforcement following a substantial drug bust in Atlanta that dismantled a significant drug operation. In collaboration with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and local authorities, agents seized over 252 kilograms of illegal drugs and 33 firearms, valued at approximately $9 million, from the streets. This operation led to the arrest of 47-year-old Bartholomew Keeton Harralson, who is facing serious federal charges, including drug trafficking and weapon possession. If found guilty, he could be imprisoned for a minimum of 40 years, with the possibility of life in prison.

Searches of Harralson’s residences uncovered alarming amounts of various narcotics, including over 56 kilograms of fentanyl and large quantities of methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine. Law enforcement also discovered sophisticated equipment for pill production and substantial cash, emphasizing the scale of the operation. This coordinated effort reflects the commitment to protecting communities and curbing drug-related violence and addiction.
