The Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) has apprehended five individuals following a significant cocaine discovery during a recent operation in Turkeyen.
Conducted on Wednesday, this intelligence-driven initiative targeted two vehicles where officers uncovered several parcels containing a whitish powdery substance, suspected to be cocaine.
Upon further investigation, the substance was confirmed to be cocaine, weighing in at approximately 16.784 kilogrammes. The suspects were subsequently taken to CANU headquarters for processing along with the seized narcotics.
