Ghislaine Maxwell, the former associate of Jeffrey Epstein, has been barred from participating in a service dog training program at her new prison in Texas due to her past crimes.
According to reports, Maxwell was transferred to the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, where she is being held on charges related to her involvement with Epstein. The prison offers a service dog training program for inmates, but Maxwell has been denied access due to her history of abusing minors and animals.
The decision to deny Maxwell participation in the program was made by Paige Mazzoni, CEO of Canine Companions, which runs the service dog programs at the prison. Mazzoni stated that the organization does not allow inmates who have committed crimes involving abuse towards minors or animals to participate in the training program.
Maxwell’s move to the new prison came after she met with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to discuss her ties to Epstein, whom she helped procure underage girls for. The Trump administration denied allegations that Maxwell was given preferential treatment, stating that prisoners are often moved due to safety concerns.
