Police advocates are expressing their outrage following the tragic death of Ava Moore, an 18-year-old Air Force recruit, who was reportedly killed by an illegal immigrant. Joe Gamaldi, national vice president of the Fraternal Order of Police, voiced his disgust at the open border policies that allowed this individual into the country. According to Gamaldi, the loss of Moore, a promising basketball player aiming for a distinguished military career, raises serious concerns about the safety of American citizens.
Gamaldi lamented the ongoing fatalities connected to undocumented individuals, questioning the toll on families and communities impacted by these preventable tragedies. He emphasized the frustration felt among law enforcement regarding the rampant issues posed by illegal immigration, especially as the Biden administration’s policies seemingly continue to facilitate such dangers.
Art Del Cueto, vice president of the National Border Patrol Council, echoed Gamaldi’s sentiments, predicting further senseless deaths due to the presence of illegal aliens in the U.S. He criticized lawmakers for hindering law enforcement’s ability to address the situation effectively.
The accused, Daikerlyn Alejandraa Gonzalez-Gonzalez, now faces charges of second-degree manslaughter after allegedly causing Moore’s death during a jet ski incident on Lake Grapevine, Texas. The case exemplifies a growing concern over the implications of undocumented immigrants on public safety and the need for more stringent border control.
