President Ali Envisions a Bright Future for Guyana, Supported by the ‘Red Army’

In his quest for a second term, President Dr. Irfaan Ali has expressed confidence in shaping a future characterized by “unity, outcomes, and foresight.” Speaking to a large gathering of enthusiastic supporters, he reaffirmed the People’s Progressive Party’s (PPP) role as the driving force behind development and prosperity for all citizens of Guyana.

Commending Vice President and PPP General Secretary Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo, President Ali emphasized the need for visionary leadership to achieve their goals. “It is my greatest privilege to share the podium with a true icon of contemporary Guyanese politics,” he remarked, pledging to work together for the citizens of the nation.

This robust support is evident from the enthusiastic crowd at the PPP market square, as President Ali proclaimed that their movement, symbolized by the “red army,” is marching toward victory. He highlighted the party’s accomplishments, including a rapidly growing economy, distribution of over 50,000 house lots, and investments positioning Guyana as a leader in oil, gas, food production, and tourism.

Notably, he advocated for unity among all Guyanese, regardless of ethnicity, stating, “I don’t see divisions; rather, I’m envisioning the One Guyana we are constructing together.” In contrast to the opposition’s narratives of hardship, he asserted that the PPP fosters hope and tangible results through strategic management of the nation’s oil wealth, aiming to enhance family incomes and expand opportunities for all.
