Thousands of families in Guyana are on the path to owning their dream homes as the government embarks on a ambitious $20 billion initiative to develop new housing communities nationwide.
Minister Collin Croal recently visited several construction sites across the country, including Overwinning, Providence, and Moleson Creek, to assess progress and provide updates on the project’s timeline.
With approximately 6,000 pending housing applicants in Region Six, the government is working tirelessly to deliver on its promise of affordable housing and improved living standards for citizens across the nation.
The $20 billion investment will not only construct new homes but also develop entire communities with access to schools, roads, water, electricity, and economic opportunities.
Minister Croal emphasized that the government’s focus is on creating sustainable, well-planned neighborhoods where families can thrive and build their futures.
