
On Sunday, August 3, cricket enthusiasts can anticipate a thrilling showdown as four elite teams compete in the Kares One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast 2025 national finals at the National Stadium in Providence.
Following a rigorous tournament that involved around 80 teams, the final four zone champions are prepared to battle for the title: Mahdia (Movements Family), Titans All-Stars, Montra Jaguars, and Eccles All-Stars.
The semi-finals kick off at 15:30h with the Titans facing off against Mahdia, followed by Montra challenging Eccles at 17:00h. The climax of the tournament is set for 19:30h with the finals, preceded by a women’s match and an exhibition bout earlier in the day.
The competition is fierce, with teams vying for a significant grand prize of $1.7 million, plus a zone prize totaling $300,000. The runners-up will receive $700,000 alongside trophies and medals, while the losing semi-finalists will be awarded $300,000 each.
Individual accolades are also on the line, with various prizes for standout performances, including MVP and awards for top scorers and bowlers. Although admission is free, guests are reminded that coolers, firearms, and glass bottles are prohibited.
