According to the South China Morning Post, a court has heard allegations from Hong Kong socialite Abby Choi Tin-fung, who accused her former in-laws of attempting to turn her children against her after she sought to finalize the sale of a flat valued at HK$72 million, which was the subject of a significant disagreement between the two families.
Cheung Yin-fa, Choi's mother, stated on Tuesday that her daughter had developed hostility toward her former parents-in-law, Kwong Kau and Jenny Li Sui-heung, in the period leading up to the influencer's death in February 2023.
Cheung reportedly became emotional while testifying in the witness box after viewing footage of her late daughter greeting visitors at the upscale property, which resulted in the judge temporarily pausing the trial.
