Burberry Celebrates 170th Anniversary with 170: The Anniversary Portraits Campaign
Burberry is celebrating its 170th anniversary with a global campaign called 170: The Anniversary Portraits, featuring 170 individuals from London, Shanghai, New York, and Seoul, showcasing 10 outerwear styles.
The British fashion house is commemorating its 170th anniversary through a global campaign named 170: The Anniversary Portraits, which places its outerwear not in a studio, but on the streets and in the cities where it is worn. This project features 170 people located in London, Shanghai, New York, and Seoul. The campaign showcases 10 different outerwear styles, such as trench coats, puffer jackets, and capes. Instead of using a studio setting, the outerwear is presented on the streets within the cities where it is worn. The project, which was photographed by Jack Day and includes a film directed by Hector Aponysus, involves each of the 170 people interpreting one of the 10 outerwear styles in their own personal manner, according to the South China Morning Post.
