According to the South China Morning Post, the Chinese embassy in Kazakhstan advocated for the harmonization of high-level policies to enhance health cooperation between the two nations for mutual advantage. This partnership is the latest move by Beijing to engage the resource-rich country amid expanded ties in energy, security, trade and infrastructure.
Cheng Kefan, the interim charge d'affaires at the embassy, stated at a medical seminar hosted by the GX Foundation in Astana that both countries ought to advance the qualitative improvement of collaboration in areas such as smart healthcare, high-tech diagnostics and treatment, the pharmaceutical industry, and public health, with the aim of extending the lifespans of their populations for future generations.
