Durban Declaration anniversary claim conflicts with 2011 date
Aljazeera says the UN General Assembly is marking the Durban Declaration’s 25th anniversary and dates the Declaration to 2011. The publication metadata is dated September 28, 2026, which is 15 years after 2011; the supplied details do not establish which anniversary or date is incorrect.

Aljazeera’s account identifies the commemoration as the Durban Declaration’s 25th anniversary and dates the Declaration to 2011. But the publication metadata is dated September 28, 2026, 15 years after 2011. The supplied details therefore do not reconcile, and they do not establish which anniversary or date is wrong.
The evidence says the Declaration called for combating racism. It provides no further details about the General Assembly commemoration.
