Guyana Has Six Points After Two Nations League Matches
Two wins give Guyana a perfect start in Group A, but the account does not establish its standing against the other teams. The four League B group winners qualify directly for the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup.

Kaieteur News reports that Guyana has six points from its first two of six scheduled Group A matches in the 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League. The Golden Jaguars beat Puerto Rico 1-0, then defeated the Cayman Islands 2-0. The account does not provide results for the other Group A teams, so it does not establish Guyana’s relative position or whether it is on course to finish first.
The qualification route is tied to the group outcome: the four League B group winners earn direct places in the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup. Guyana’s next two fixtures are both against Dominica, on October 1 and October 4, as its six-match group schedule continues. The two victories secure a strong start, but qualification depends on the group campaign, not the opening points total alone.
