According to the South China Morning Post, Hailey Bills, who is 20 years old and previously partnered with reality star Sarah Jane Nader on Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars, was a member of the DWTS troupe last year and served as a junior pro on Dancing with the Stars: Juniors. During that competition, she competed alongside Tripp Palin, receiving coaching from Johnson while Chmerkovskiy acted as a judge. The pair was eliminated early, and Bills mentioned this on The Joe Vulpis Podcast. She recounted that the drive home with her uncle Val felt quite awkward, noting that they did end up having dinner, and her uncle provided her with a pep talk, which she acknowledged indicated his sadness regarding the outcome.
