Two substantial metal stands, which supported industrial-grade projectors, were taken down from The Peak after a visit by a tourism commissioner, a lawmaker, and a councillor.
According to the South China Morning Post, two sizable metal stands that were used to hold industrial-grade projectors had been removed from The Peak on Saturday afternoon. These structures left behind only their grey foundational blocks and some bolts, which were not secured with barriers. A security guard situated near the park on the Harlech Road and Lugard Road circular walk confirmed that the removal of the two structures occurred that afternoon, following a visit by a tourism commissioner, a lawmaker, and a councillor to the location.
