According to BBC UK, the Legoland Windsor attraction experienced an abrupt closure due to a burst water main. Customers were instructed to vacate the rides and leave the resort at approximately 13:00 BST on Sunday.

Thames Water stated that it was compelled to shut off the damaged main near St Leonards Reservoir to avert flooding, which subsequently affected the theme park's water supply. The company also mentioned that some local residents had reportedly experienced flooded gardens and offered an apology for the disruption.

One visitor to Legoland, who traveled from Cornwall with her children, described the sudden evacuation as feeling "surreal." The unnamed woman recounted that while she was waiting in line for a ride and had reached the front, all activity suddenly ceased. She stated that staff then instructed everyone to leave, and the announcement system informed guests about a Thames Water disruption in the vicinity that resulted in a lack of water.

This visitor added that since they had booked a night at the hotel and stayed the previous night, they were very disappointed as they had to drive home.

Thames Water reported that supplies had since been restored and that permanent repairs were ongoing. The company indicated it would issue an update on Monday. Legoland has not responded to inquiries regarding the matter.
