Kaieteur News reports that the eight quarter-finalists came from matches at two grounds, with four teams qualifying at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) and four at Lusignan Community Centre Ground. Their October 3 pairings at Lusignan Ground keep those groups together: DCC qualifiers Titans Rams and Pure Entertainment meet at 09:30h, followed by DCC qualifiers Diamond Gunners and SVC/AJM CC at 11:30h. The two Lusignan Community Centre qualifiers’ matches are Team Corruption against Better Hope at 13:30h and Avinash All-Stars against Housing Warriors at 15:30h.
The four quarter-finals run across the day, and Kaieteur News says each is for the right to advance to the zonal finals at Enmore on October 4. The report also places a later national-stage prize in the schedule: a $2 million purse is on offer at Anna Regina National Stadium on October 11. It does not specify in the supplied account how the quarter-final pairings determine matchups in the zonal finals.
