Malaysian Queen Visits Family of Irene Sofiya After Her Death

According to the South China Morning Post, Raja Zarith Sofiah visited the residence of Irene Sofiya's father, Mohd Khairool Faisal Khyar. Mohd Khairool Faisal Khyar, who is 42 years old and an engineer, expressed his deep appreciation for the Queen's concern and words of encouragement during her visit to the family home in Kampung Selamat, Johor, on Monday.
During the visit, Raja Zarith Sofiah advised the family to maintain patience and stated that she would endeavor to assist in finding justice for Irene Sofiya. Mohd Khairool stated that Raja Zarith Sofiah was very considerate and that his family greatly valued what she communicated to them during this challenging time. Following the tragedy, Mohd Khairool indicated that ensuring justice for his only child has become his foremost priority.
