Man Killed by New York Subway Train After Bag Snags in Door During Rush Hour
Police reported that a 57-year-old man from Brooklyn, Yaw Boahene, was killed when a bag he was carrying became caught in the closing doors of a New York subway train during the Monday evening rush hour commute.
According to the South China Morning Post, a man was killed by a New York subway train after a bag he possessed became stuck in the door while the train was operating during the Monday evening rush hour commute.
Yaw Boahene, who is 57 years old and resides in Brooklyn, was in the process of exiting a train at a Brooklyn subway station at approximately 6pm when his bag, which authorities described as a shopping bag, became snagged in the train's closing doors.
Police stated in a statement that the Brooklyn resident was pulled onto the tracks and subsequently run over by the train as it departed the station.
Officers who arrived at the scene discovered Boahene to be
