According to the South China Morning Post, K Wise, which operates as a subsidiary of the One Stanley developer K&K Property, issued a statement on Friday addressing the controversy. This statement came a week after a local property media outlet reported allegations concerning substandard work at the luxury residential development located in southern Hong Kong.
In response to the investigation into suspected deficiencies in the steel reinforcement, the developer has extended a six-year structural warranty to the flat owners. Furthermore, the company is providing free independent property inspections for both owners and buyers.
K Wise stated that the company recognizes the concern that the incident has generated among the public, property owners, and buyers, and affirmed that building safety and protecting the interests of owners will be its primary focus.
