According to the Guyana Times, the PNCR and APNU offered tributes to the long-serving party member, noting that he served both the party and the nation with distinction. The party stated that Corbin was an astute, loyal, disciplined, and hardworking member of the PNCR. The PNCR also mentioned that Corbin was a shrewd politician and an enthusiastic advocate for coalition politics, a role credited with guiding the PNCR into the coalition politics that led to the 2015 APNU+AFC (Alliance For Change) Coalition and its subsequent victory. Despite his significant political involvement, the PNCR noted that Corbin maintained a professional career as a lawyer while continuing his service to the party. Furthermore, the PNCR indicated that even while unwell, Corbin continued to provide counsel to the party. The PNCR expressed that Corbin's passing represents an irreplaceable loss to the PNCR and that he will be missed, extending condolences to his family, colleagues, and friends while wishing his soul peace and acknowledging his lasting contributions to the Party and Guyana.
