According to the South China Morning Post, characters such as the landlady from Kung Fu Hustle and the God of Cookery have been reimagined to establish an intellectual property universe that resembles those of Marvel or Disney.

The Chicken Egg Boy shop located in Sheung Wan is reportedly experiencing crowds exceeding its usual level. The shop frequently sees fans waiting patiently for a unique egg waffle, but on a particular early autumn afternoon, influencers and media were present to sample a new creation.

Shop founder Natalie Lau has developed a parcel that merges three Hong Kong snacks: an egg waffle topped with a pineapple bun and filled with char siu pork within each egg panel.

As part of a promotion, a costumed mascot representing Stephen Chow Sing-chi's well-known God of Cookery character was seen posing for photographs with visitors while holding samples of the egg waffles.
