Two Team Finals Go 3–2 at Stars of the Nation Table Tennis Competition
At the September 19–20 Stars of the Nation 2026 competition, the Senior Men’s and Junior Boys’ finals each ended 3–2. The Senior Mixed match ended 2–0 and the Junior Mixed final 3–0, while Starlight won the Senior Women’s and Junior Girls’ round-robin categories.

Kaieteur News reported that the inaugural Stars of the Nation 2026 Table Tennis Team Competition was held at the National Gymnasium on September 19–20, organised by the MEYTS Youth Organisation in collaboration with the Guyana Table Tennis Association and Titans Table Tennis Club. Two finals went to 3–2: TT Blasters beat The Veterans in the Senior Men’s final, and Super Spin defeated GOATED in the Junior Boys’ final.
Other team results were more decisive. Rising Stars beat Cats & Dogs 2–0 for the Senior Mixed title, while Red Stars defeated Apple 3–0 in the Junior Mixed championship encounter. The Senior Women’s and Junior Girls’ categories were round-robin competitions rather than finals; Starlight, with Jasmine Billingy and Samara Sukhai, finished first in both. The results distinguish the two closest finals from the shorter match outcomes and the round-robin titles.
