According to the South China Morning Post, a woman originating from southwestern China has achieved widespread admiration on social media for climbing five well-known mountains across five provinces in just five days.

The climber, who has the surname Peng, commenced her trek on September 23 in her native Guiyang, located in Guizhou province, as reported by the Xiaoxiang Morning Herald.

Her itinerary included climbing Mount Hua in northwestern Shaanxi province the subsequent day. She then proceeded to Mount Heng in the adjacent Shanxi province on September 25, followed by Mount Tai in eastern Shandong province on September 26, Mount Song in central Henan province on September 27, and concluded her journey by climbing Mount Heng in Hunan province on September 28.

The five mountains mentioned are collectively recognized as China’s Five Great Mountains, which are noted for their historical and cultural importance as well as their natural beauty.
