The Ministry of Education has reasserted its strong stance against bullying, following two recent incidents that sparked widespread concern on social media.
In a statement, the Minister emphasized that bullying and violence will not be tolerated in schools. The ministry has launched investigations into both cases to determine the facts and ensure that disciplinary measures are taken accordingly.
The Ministry urges all stakeholders, including students, parents, and educators, to report any instances of intimidation or violence, ensuring swift action is taken.
‘Bullying is unacceptable in our education system. We must work together as schools, families, and communities to create safe environments where every child can thrive,’ the statement said.
The nationwide physical education programme was also launched on Friday, with Education Minister Sonia Parag joining students for the event.
