The Essequibo matches are scheduled for Saturday, July 26, at Pomona Ground and Hampton Court, with the action shifting to Anna Regina Ground on Sunday. The competing teams in the Essaquibo zone include Aurora Knight Riders, Team Evolution, Team Royals, Renegades Cricket Club, The United Crew, Mahdia, Matarkai CPG, Bartica Royals, Moruca Super Strikers, Queenstown (Ariel XI), Inevitable XI, Avinash All-Stars, and Essequibo Jaguars.
Fans can enjoy free admission to all venues, with matches kicking off at 09:30h on Saturday. The stakes are high, as the zone champion stands to gain a hefty $300,000, while the runner-up will take home $100,000. On a national scale, the championship match promises an extraordinary grand prize of $1.7 million, with additional rewards for participants, including individual accolades like the MVP award and Most Runs.
