The accident took place around 11:45 p.m. and involved a car, a motorcycle, and the pedestrian. Initial findings suggest that the motorcar was traveling east in the northern lane when the driver heard a loud noise. Upon checking his wing mirror, he felt a jolt at both the front and rear of his vehicle. After stopping, he discovered Mr. Sadaram and the motorcyclist injured on the roadway.
Emergency Medical Technicians were dispatched to the scene, where they pronounced Sadaram deceased. The motorcyclist, who was conscious, was taken to Georgetown Public Hospital for medical attention. The car driver is currently in police custody, cooperating with the investigation, and underwent a breathalyzer test, which returned low alcohol levels.
