Trump concluded his statement by emphasizing, “Now is the time for peace.” This military action coincided with an ongoing week-long aerial conflict between Israel and Iran, resulting in casualties in both nations. Israel initiated the airstrikes, asserting the need to eliminate any potential for Iran to develop nuclear weapons.
Contrastingly, Iran maintains that its nuclear ambitions serve peaceful objectives. Despite attempts by Western countries to mediate and halt the violence, these diplomatic efforts have not yet yielded any results.
