Exciting developments are underway at the Wales Gas-to-Energy project, marking a significant milestone in its construction.
A recent concrete pour was recently completed, demonstrating steady progress on this ambitious national initiative.
The project’s foundation is being built for various components, including natural gas liquids facilities and gas turbines.
Contractors have set a 120-day schedule to complete the foundation works by the end of the year, ensuring timely completion of the project.
This development comes on the heels of a recent site visit by Prime Minister Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips and Minister of Public Utilities and Aviation Deodat Indar, where they observed progress at 68%.
With ongoing efforts to complete the foundations for all turbines, the project is on track to meet its deadlines and bring this transformative energy solution to Guyana.
