According to the South China Morning Post, the judiciary confirmed that the disgraced former prince, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has brought a High Court challenge seeking to quash search warrants that Thames Valley Police obtained prior to his arrest earlier this year.

The London court was scheduled to conduct a private hearing on Thursday, as stated in a statement released by the judiciary on Monday. The challenge by King Charles’ brother concerns searches performed at his former and current residences, both located on royal estates, by Thames Valley Police.

The 66-year-old was apprehended by the force on February 19, which was his birthday, on suspicion of misconduct in public office linked to his associations with the late US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. He was subsequently released on the same day while the investigation continued. The ex-prince has denied any wrongdoing.
