According to body camera footage, authorities in Atlanta, Georgia, responded to a massive illegal street racing gathering on the night of Sunday, April 12, 2026. Police were called to the intersection of James Jackson Parkway and Bolton Road due to reports of reckless driving, significant roadway blockages, and illegal maneuvers like drag racing and drifting.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a large crowd of approximately 200 spectators who had congregated in the intersection to observe the chaos. Surveillance video confirmed that the crowd was actively filming the events as vehicles sped through the area, contributing to the ensuing disorder.
